Lovely Edwardian house situated between the historic Market Town of Bridport, with its twice weekly street markets, and the Harbour at West Bay on the Jurassic Coast.

Britmead House offers family run superior bed and breakfast accommodation with many thoughtful extras and the warmest of welcomes. We offer a choice of rooms, including two on the ground floor and two family rooms. We want your stay with us to be a relaxing one, so please let us know if you have any special requirements.

Breakfast is served from 8 until 9.15 am in our light and airy dining room overlooking the garden. You can choose from a range of fruit juices, cereals, muesli, yogurt, dried and fresh fruit followed by a traditional English breakfast.

If you prefer, there is also a continental style with croissants and preserves or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and, of course, a choice of freshly brewed tea and coffee. We also offer a range of speciality teas and decaffeinated tea and coffee. The emphasis is on the best fresh produce, locally sourced where possible.

We have a large private car park, so why not forget about the car and stroll to the numerous pubs and restaurants around West Bay Harbour and the surrounding Dorset countryside.
