The Manor is one of the earliest in Corfe and, without doubt, the finest. Built in 1590 in the shape of an E to honour Queen Elizabeth I, it has in more recent times been sympathetically converted into a 21 bedroom hotel.
The individual character rooms all have private bathroom, television, telephone, tea & coffee making facilities, and quality courtesy products. Many rooms have views of the Castle and others look towards Swanage Steam Railway and the Purbeck Hills.
The Dacombe rooms, with their own terrace and seating area, are situated within the beautiful walled gardens and are accessible to all. These spacious rooms are equipped with wet rooms and walk-in showers.
Proud of the 2 AA Rosette awards received for its traditional English cuisine, the Restaurant also boasts an excellent wine list. Rooms are available for private parties, conferences, civil weddings and receptions.
The location of the hotel provides the perfect centre from which to enjoy the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in this idyllic corner of England, taking in the sights of the Jurassic coastline, Kimmeridge Bay, Lulworth, Durdle Door, Swanage with its famous Steam Railway and the beautiful beaches at Studland.
